Spruz seems easier to use then the last generator we used. The one was cumbersome and altered a lot of my settings without my direction to do so. Hopefully, spruz wont do the same.  My group is going to research and display are findings on dog fighting. We think we'll focus on dog fighting in the media with Michael Vick, things people can do to help, and what happens with the dogs once they are rescued.  THe other members in my group seem more proficient with web design then my last group, so I'm hoping spruz and this project ends up being less painful.

P4 E1

Social networking sites enable users to connect with people from all over the world.  The sites allow easy presentation and translation of words, pictures, video links, htmls, and games.  I believe this is what draws people to the sites, they are easy to use.  In modern times, people want everything as soon as possible.  Facebook and Myspace provide their users with just that, speedy communication.  Fast communication fosters relationships with people who you wouldnt necessarily talk to if you had to call thim on the phone or write them a letter.  They also found success by centering each users homepage around the user. (likes, dislikes, profile pictures, favorite quote). People like to think they are in the center, and take pride in what they post on their page.

Fogg- P3 E2

So far, we are on the right track. We decided to go local and redesign Kingston Pizza's site. We are going to completely renovate it by creating a user friendly interface that avoids clutter by only presenting neccesary information. Our group has worked well together, especially out of class. By putting our heads together, we should be able to trim the existing site, doll it up, and make navigation to pertinent pages easy.

So far, the Google site desginer seems pretty easy. I feel like Yesnia, Codee and myself will really be able to utilize the different fonts, layouts and templates. The site we are thinking of could really use some help in the right direction. Starting with the layout of the menu. We should be able to make it easier to navigate and cut out a good chunk of clutter.

Fogg- P2 E2

So far, there is ALOT of rules.  The layout of the page is very strict as to unify the layout for all entries.  I will most likely have to revisit the Manual to insure I am following these laws.  As far as formating the page with the indicated markups, it probably will not be too difficult.  Just like with the manual, I will have to revisit the markup site from time to time to make the adjustments to my post.  I feel confident about my knowledge of my location, and of the information I can present, but a little hesitant about formatting to wikitravel specs.  My biggest challenge will be making sure I meet all the wiki criteria.

Beavertail, Wickford, Newport, -Rhode Island

I will create a totally new page for whichever location I use, and will expnad upon each with my personal accounts at each location.  I have spent the most time at Beavertail and Wickford and would probably be able to cite more about those two.

Fogg- P1 E2

Readers should trust me as the author beacause I hold a certain credibility for spearfishing through my extensive experience and knowledge.  Throughout the years, I have compiled all the expensive equipment necessary and fully understand all the mehanics behind the tools of the trade.  I have hundreds of hours devoted to scouting areas and getting in the water searching for fish.  And I've lived and fished in Rhode Island my whole life and have talked with experts concerning tactics and local hot spots.

Fogg- P1 E1

For my blog, I would like to write about my newest obsession, spear fishing.  The topic is not extremely popular, but it is relevant.  Rhode Island is one of the best places to spearfish in the entire world.  International Championships have been held within ten miles of campus.  I want to show people this amazing world that I have been blessed to experience.  I want students in the class that may have never heard of this sport, to learn its beauty and thrill.  I want to write anecdotes and informational pieces concerning spearfishing.
